We are unique in that Meetup attendance is spread across a large metropolitan area among six individual groups, yet we are one Community. The Meetup organizers are friends who work together to foster a learn-do-teach approach in all or our events.
Meetup attendees are known by
name, introduced to each other, and encouraged to become active community participants. They step up to speak and volunteer for WordCamp year after year simply because they want to give back to the community. (Sponsors have said they love coming to Atlanta because so many users attend!)
